"2008 GUNNER RUN"
(AKA) Michigan Remembers Run

on the Capitol steps, Lansing, Michigan

BE STAGING
AT THE REST AREA ON EAST BOUND
I-96 @ MILE MARKER #87
WE WILL HAVE OUR KICKSTANDS UP
AND
ROLLING OUT AT NOON.
(WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAD INTO LANSING AS A GROUP)
The 10th Annual Michigan Remembers Run (MRR) honors and remembers military POW/MIA personnel from all U.S. Wars, and the families who await return of their loved one’s. The run begins from staging sites around Michigan on Saturday morning. Then, the assembled groups ride to Lansing.
Representative John Espinoza (US Army Retired) and Bob “Stretch” Cleeland (member of the only POW rescue mission during the Vietnam War) are featured speakers. The ceremony will last approximately an hour.
A Michigan Remembers Run commemorative pin/patch is available at the Capitol steps for a donation of $10.00 (US funds).
Please…no-attitudes or alcohol (before or during the ride and ceremony).
Motorcycle riders must conform to Michigan statues regarding motorcycle
operation. The Michigan Remembers Run is open to the public.
Everyone is welcome! Please arrive by 1:15 p.m.
AFTER THE EVENT SOME MEMBERS
WILL BE STOPPING
FOR LUNCH AT THE "FLYING J" TRUCK STOP
OFF WEST BOUND I-96 AT EXIT #90.
